PTT revives denuded forest in Bataan; 400 volunteers join 2nd leg of tree-planting.

Denuded portion of the tropical jungle inside the Bataan National Park (BNP) is slowly getting back to its natural form with trees starting to grow again even as close to 400 volunteers trekked the mountain last July 27 to plant more seedlings.

Volunteers from both government and non-government organizations joined the second phase of PTT Philippines Corporation’s (PTT) massive tree-planting activity dubbed as “Gas Up for a Tree” project. PTT Philippines is a local subsidiary of Thai-oil giant PTT.

PTT Philippines Foundation joins DepED "Brigada Eskwela" School Clean-Up Program

Saturday, June 1, 2013 PTTPFI joined Department of Education officials, parents teachers and students in its annual "Brigada Eskwela" school cleanup program to prepare for June 3 start of school year.

Lead by PTT Philippines CSR Associate Shanadine Llarena, PTT Foundation Volunteers participated in the clean-up and re-painting of KALALAKE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in Olongapo City, Zambales. PTTPFI volunteers were assigned to prioritize the school grounds and hallways of the school.

PTT launches project, opens new station

PTT Philippines Corporation (PTTPC), a subsidiary Petroleum Authority of Thailand – Thailand's biggest oil company, continues its effort in establishing its presence in the country. Thai subsidiary to reforest 50 hectares in Bataan National Park

PTT Philippines Corp., a subsidiary of PTT, Thailand’s biggest oil company, on Thursday formally launched a massive tree-planting project which aims to rehabilitate portions of the Bataan National Park.

The project is in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), the National Commission for Indigenous People (NCIP), the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP), the Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU), Mga Bayani ng Kalikasan, Bases Conversion Development Authority (BCDA) and Wide Out Technology.
